Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 30, 2026
LendPipe ("we," "us," or "our") operates a B2B SaaS platform that helps financial institutions automate credit analysis. This policy describes how we handle information when you or your institution uses our platform. It applies to LendPipe's website and services.
Who this applies to
Our customers are financial institutions — banks, credit unions, and lending organizations ("Customer"). Individual users are the loan officers, underwriters, and analysts who access the platform on behalf of a Customer ("Users").
In most cases, the Customer is the data controller for borrower documents and financial information uploaded to the platform. LendPipe acts as a data processor, handling that information according to the Customer's instructions and our agreements.
Information we collect
Account and organizational data
When a Customer creates an account, we collect the institution's name, contact information, and billing details. For Users, we collect name, work email address, and role within the organization. This information is used to manage access and operate the service.
Customer content
Customers upload documents and financial data to the platform for processing — tax returns, financial statements, bank statements, and related borrower materials. We treat this content as confidential and process it solely to deliver the service.
Usage data
We collect standard technical information about how the platform is used — pages visited, features accessed, session duration, browser type, and IP address. This helps us maintain, debug, and improve the service.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the LendPipe platform
- To process documents and generate credit analysis outputs on behalf of Customers
- To communicate about the service, including updates and support
- To monitor platform performance, diagnose issues, and improve reliability
- To comply with legal obligations
Customer content
Documents and borrower data uploaded to LendPipe belong to the Customer. We do not access, review, or use that content for any purpose other than delivering the services the Customer has requested.
Each Customer's data is logically isolated from other customers. Our access controls ensure that data is only accessible to Users within the same organization.
AI and model training
LendPipe does not use borrower documents, financial data, or any other Customer content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI or machine learning models. Your data is used only to produce outputs for your organization.
We use third-party AI providers to process documents. Our agreements with those providers prohibit them from using Customer content for model training purposes.
Information sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — Cloud hosting, infrastructure, and payment processors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements — When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of LendPipe or others.
- Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.
Data retention
We retain account and organizational data for as long as a Customer's account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal and operational obligations.
Customer content is retained according to the terms of the applicable service agreement. Customers can request deletion of their content at any time by contacting us.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), access controls, and regular security monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@lendpipe.ai.
Your rights
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal account information by contacting us. Requests related to borrower data should be directed to the Customer (the institution), as they are the data controller for that information.
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what information we have collected and the right to request deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify Customers via email or a notice in the platform before the changes take effect. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
